It’s Showtime…
The beginning of summer heralds the start of ‘show’ season across the Over Wyre area.
There are plenty of events on to keep you busy throughout the months of July & August. Garstang Scarecrow Festival is on 5th -7th July, with a Surprise Surprise theme. Follow to trail through the town and enjoy the range of live entertainment on throughout the weekend. Great Eccleston Show is on 13th-14th July. A fabulous family day out, with lots to see & do. There are show classes for catte, sheep & horses. Lots of stall and exhibitors, and not to forget the fabulous tractor pull! Fleetwood Festival of Transport, Tram Sunday is on the 21st July. The UKs largest free vintage transport and arts event. Closely followed by Garstang Show on the 3rd August.
The agricultural show has something for everyone to enjoy, from the non stop action in the main ring, to the local food & drink in the food hall, to the displays of arts, crafts and flowers in the horticultural tent.
