Purchasing a holiday home is a big decision. We are here to help answer any questions and queries and talk you through every step. We are up front that we do not allow any sub-letting on site and we have no caravans that we rent out on site. This provides a stable environment for our owners, and develops a community atmosphere. Sandy Bay is not a party site, just a place to enjoy the peace and quiet the area has to offer.

Sandy Bay is open from 1st March – 14th February (11.5months) each year. We are a Holiday Park – the Park address cannot be used as your residential address. Proof of your address will be required.

We want Sandy Bay to be a place you enjoy spending your leisure time and a place you are proud to own a holiday home on.

Sandy Bay has been owned by Eric and Charlotte Danson since 2020, and has seen considerable improvements in that time. With more investment planned, the future for Sandy Bay looks bright. We are on-hand if you need advice or simply want to chat about ownership at Sandy Bay.

Annual Costs & Information

• Annual Site Fees for 2022-23 – From £3180. This includes pitch fee, rates, water & sewerage rates.
• Gas – Gas is bottled and must be purchased through the office.
• Electricity – Electricity is metered and invoiced out annually, and charged at the ‘pass through’ rate.
• Holiday Home Insurance – We recommend Leisuredays, however you are free to use whomever you wish.
• Winter Drain Down – When you have finished using your holiday home for the season, draining your caravan down is recommended. This removes all the water from the pipework within your caravan. During cold weather pipes can freeze and cause bursts. We offer a winter drain down service onsite.
