An Early Spring at Sandy Bay?

Landscaping maintenance

The weather has finally improved allowing some seasonal landscaping maintenance to begin. The trees around the perimeter of Sandy Bay have been pruned, this will allow them to thicken up and improve the screening once spring arrives and the leaves grow. What has been noticeable is that some weeds have started to grow – this is really early, and hopefully signifies an early spring? The weeds have been sprayed off and the park has maintained its tidy image even on the drab days.

We have had some spectacular days, with amazingly clear views from Preesall over to the Lake District and Bowland Fells. The snow topped mountains look almost within touching distance. This has been a welcome relief after the wet weather in December.

The largest holiday home we have ever had on the park has been delivered this week. The ABI Ambleside has now been sited and looks splendid on its pitch. This large 42 x 14ft caravan was hand picked by the new owners, and we hope they enjoy their holiday home at Sandy Bay for many years.

The caravan supply market has eased and caravans are much more readily available from dealerships, and with a greater choice. Any one interested in choosing a specific holiday home can now do so.
