Sandy Bay is located in the village of Preesall. The park is 6 acres. We strive to ensure that the caravan park can be enjoyed by all our visitors. Our aim is to help you enjoy using your holiday home. Please contact us is you require assistance planning your break or during your stay. Pre-Arrival
- We privately owned static caravans.
- We can post a copy of this access statement if required.
- We are located in Preesall. The nearest bus stop is 0.6miles by Preesall Sports Centre.
- The local taxi firm is in Knott End and can be contacted on 01253 813000
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- If you are visiting Sandy Bay for a viewing, please telephone ahead to allow us to open the barrier for you.
- The barrier at the entrance to the park will not lift unless you have the access code
- The office has a tarmac car park to the front, with parking available immediately outside.
Sandy Bay Office
- Access to the office is from the main visitor parking area.
- Reception has 1 step up to the entrance.
- There are double doors to the entrance which are 1.4m wide and require opening by hand.
- Wheelchair users may find it difficult to get into reception, however staff will be pleased to assist you from the door.
- There are chairs available in the office.
- The out of hours contact numbers are displayed on the office door.
Public Area – General (internal)
- Tarmac roads service the park.
- The park is situated in Preesall. The park comprises of 57 static caravans.
- The park is of flat terrain, with a rising slope up to the coastal path.
Laundry
- Parking available immediately outside the Laundry Area.
- There is a level door into Laundry Area
- Level access throughout.
- There is one front loading washing machine.
- There is one front loading dryer.
- Both the washer and dryer are coin operated.
Shop
- The nearest shop 0.6 miles away in Preesall.
Holiday Accommodation
- All static caravans are privately owned and are not available for rent.
Touring Facilities
- We do not have any touring caravan facilities.
Local Attractions
- There are a large number of local attraction in the area. Details can be found on our website www.sandybaypreesall.co.uk and on www.visitlancashire.com. Staff have a vast knowledge of the local area and will be delighted to assist.
Grounds
- The park is small and spacious. We try to be sympathetic to the local surroundings.
- The grounds are well maintained.
- Although dogs are welcome on the park they must be kept on a lead (maximum 2 dogs per pitch). There is gated access directly onto the sea wall and beach for dog exercise.
